What Detox is Really Like at All In Solutions Wellness Center.

Detox Center Tour

Our newly renovated detox center offers a clean, comfortable, and private setting where clients can begin their recovery. Upon arrival, clients are evaluated by medical staff to ensure the proper detox protocol is followed. Most clients will be prescribed a combination of medications to safely taper them off the substances to which they are dependent. As client safety and comfort are our highest priorities, All In Solutions Wellness Center offers 24-hour nursing and a staff-to-client ratio of at least 1:4.

As the medical team addresses the physical aspect of addiction, the clinical team begins addressing the psychological aspect. Each client meets with a team of clinicians to create an individualized treatment plan that includes one-on-one sessions with a Master’s-level therapist. In addition, each client is assigned a dedicated case manager to handle whatever hurdles the outside world may present to the treatment process, including FMLA and short-term disability, probation/parole requirements, and discharge planning.

Detox & Residential Daily Schedule

A typical day at All In Solutions Wellness Center starts around 7:30 a.m. with behavioral health technicians visiting each client in their rooms and checking their vital signs. Clients then go to the nurses’ station, where they are given their medication (if needed) and are evaluated on their comfort, appetite, and sleep quality. As clients are finishing up with nursing, breakfast service starts. Clients can choose between the hot & cold breakfast options prepared by the onsite kitchen staff.

After breakfast most mornings, there will be a brief community meeting and a short meditation period. At 10 a.m., the first group therapy session begins. These sessions are facilitated by one of the primary therapists. The topic or focus of the group is different every day, so clients are not doing the same activities repeatedly. At noon, this session ends, and lunch is served. Like breakfast, hot and cold options are available, and any special dietary restrictions can be accommodated.

Group therapy resumes for another session at 1 p.m. Clients are excused from their scheduled activities throughout the day to go to one-on-one sessions with their therapist, meet with case managers, and receive additional medical care as needed. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., clients have time to participate in recreational activities or receive services from a visiting chiropractor, massage therapist, acupuncturist, or yoga instructor. Dinner is then served between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

After dinner, the nurses check in with clients again and give medications when necessary. From 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., volunteers from Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, and other recovery groups host a meeting for clients. For the rest of the night, clients are free to make phone calls to loved ones, work on assignments from their therapists, and relax. Nurses distribute medications from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., and clients are in bed for lights out at 10:30 p.m.

Overnight, behavioral health technicians are available to help clients with any problems they may face, and nurses are available to prescribe medications to help with withdrawal symptoms. The cafeteria is also open overnight and is stocked with snacks and drinks.
