Faith-Based Recovery

A Spiritual Solution Awaits.

At All in Solutions, we offer the opportunity for clients to participate in our unique Christian Faith-Based recovery program. We believe in a comprehensive treatment approach based on the bio/psycho/social/spiritual model of addiction treatment.

Evidence-based research has shown that spirituality plays an important role in promoting the kind of transformational change that is required for long-term sobriety. With this in mind, we offer a Christian approach to addiction treatment based on the Biblical narrative’s spiritual principles. We invite clients to explore the transformative power of a new identity found in Christ.

All In Solutions’ Faith-based care team is comprised of experienced clinicians, spiritual leaders, and support staff who focus on guiding clients in developing their own network of resources in the community and connection with their faith.

We stand apart from other Christian rehabs by embracing clinically proven psychotherapy techniques that address mental health through the lens of modern medical understanding. Our program blends the strengths of traditional counseling, therapy, and 12-step programs with the healing power of faith-based addiction treatment.

All In Solutions offers Faith-Based Addiction Treatment in Florida & New Jersey.

Our Unique Approach

Pastor Daniel Cornide, minister at Recovery Church and leader of All In Solution’s Faith Based Recovery Program, has first hand experience with overcoming addiction through faith. When asked about the success of Christian recovery programs, he answered,

“In my own personal recovery, what’s been the most important thing for me has been my personal intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. There’s nothing that’s been more transforming in my life than that, and so that is what I try to pass on to the clients in my program. This is an identity building program that lays the foundation for us to know where we come from and who we are. And these questions naturally lead back to the question about if there is a God. If there is a God, and we are created in His image, then what are we supposed to be doing down here? What’s the meaning or purpose of life?

But, there has been a bend, especially within Christian circles or the Christian church as a whole, to look at addiction as a, specifically and exclusively, spiritual problem. This is in contrast with looking at addiction through a holistic lens. Through a holistic approach, we recognize a biopsychosocial spiritual model of addiction. This means acknowledging that there’s a biological component to this -that there are genetic factors that play into alcoholism and addiction. It means acknowledging that there’s a mental health aspect to it. And it means acknowledging that there’s a social aspect to it. So, while spirituality plays a part, and a very large part, in addiction, it isn’t the whole picture.

But there’s been a desire to just try to pray the addiction away. Now, I’m not saying that I don’t believe in deliverance, where the obsession and compulsion is lifted instantaneously. That is what happened for me! But I still had a lot of stuff going on in my life that required attention. I still had to process broken relationships, a broken home, alcoholism in the family, insecurities, and so on. So, I think that’s where an awareness of these non-spiritual factors becomes important.

I’ve come across people who say, ‘I love the Lord, but I can’t stop drinking.’ The truth is that your drinking has nothing to do with how much you love the Lord, or you don’t love the Lord. This is where the addiction cycle comes into it. There are neurological factors that happen to your brain when you’re constantly stuck in the same vicious cycle of addiction. I’m a big believer that 95% of it is the spiritual malady, as explained in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. But there’s more to it that is often overlooked by the Christian community.”

What to Look For in a Faith-Based Treatment Program

Those trying to overcome addiction and alcoholism have turned to spiritual guidance all throughout history. As medical understanding has advanced and addiction has become classified as a disease of the mind, new techniques aimed at remediating the behavioral patterns of the addict have become more commonly practiced. For those interested in recovery through Biblical principles, there are a few things to look for when seeking a faith-based addiction treatment program…

Experienced Christian Leadership

The pastor, therapist, or counselor who leads the program should be passionate about and experienced in teaching the Bible. It is also equally important that this person has experience dealing with addiction. First-hand experience is extra helpful as people who have gone through addiction themselves may be able to meet clients on their level more easily than an ordinary clergy.

12-steps

Openness to Other Recovery Elements

The most effective faith-based addiction treatment centers utilize a combination of traditional treatment methods and Christian counseling. By combining evidence-based therapies like CBT and DBT with 12-step fellowship and Biblical recovery principles, these programs offer clients the opportunity to improve themselves on multiple planes and increase their chances of success after treatment.

accreditation

Addiction Treatment Accreditation

When choosing a faith-based treatment program, it’s essential to look for one with a strong reputation, proper licensing, and recognized accreditation. Accreditation from the Joint Commission, one of the most respected healthcare accrediting bodies, indicates that a facility meets rigorous standards for quality of care, ethical treatment practices, and clinical effectiveness. This ensures that the program is not only spiritually grounded but also professionally equipped to support long-term recovery.

Christian Recovery Fellowship

Relapse is an unfortunate but common symptom of addictive behavior, and it is no different for Christians or faith-based individuals. For this reason, we provide continued support through an aftercare program that can help strengthen an individual’s relationship with God and recovery. Our program does not simply end when you complete IOP, as we provide ongoing alumni care with full peer support services. When you complete our Christian addiction program, you join a fellowship of alumni who continue to seek God, and recovery by supporting one another and contributing to the recovery community and their local place of worship.
